Your lessons will be with a mix of Year 7 students from the different Houses.
What is house welcome time?
House Welcome Time is for the start of each day.
Each morning we will start with our College prayer and registration.
It is also an important time for sharing important messages and making sure you are set up for the day.
Is make up allowed?
Makeup may only be worn if applied in a ‘light touch’ manner. In other words, it should not be obviously noticeable to the observer e.g. light moisturising foundation, light mascara, clear lip balm.
Can I wear trainers?
What can I buy for break time snack?
You can usually buy bagels, sandwiches, fruit, sausage rolls, drinks etc.
How do I pay for lunches?
The Dining Hall operates a cashless system.
There are machines at school that you can use to top up your account.
The best method is to add money to your Arbor lunch account and then use your lanyard to make payments at the till.
Are there after school clubs?
All extra-curricular activities including after school clubs, will be displayed on screens around the College, listed on the website and communicated home in September each year.
Your House Olympia Leader can help you with extra-curricular activities which will help you to achieve your Christus Lumen Gentium Diploma.
Do girls have to wear skirts?
The full uniform and dress code guidance is in the Transition Information booklet and on the school website.
Am I allowed to bring my phone into school?
Phones and other devices must be turned off and out of sight in school.
If you need to contact home in the school day you should go to see your House Manager.
What drinks can I bring with me?
What can I do if I get lost?
This will help you to find your way around. After this you will have helpers from the older years.
Everyone gets to know the way around very quickly.
If you do ever get lost just ask any of the teachers or other students.
There will always be someone nearby.
Where do I get a school tie?
Your House tie will include your House colour.
If you do need a replacement you can buy them from the House Manager.
Who can I go to if I am worried, upset or unhappy?
If you have any worries or problems, go to the House Manager and they will be able to help.
You can also talk to any of your teachers at school, especially your House Tutor and other members of your House team.
